We are currently planning to have the reunion on Labor Day weekend 2007. The dates are Friday August 31, 2007 and Saturday September 1, 2007. Labor Day itself is Monday September 3rd.
We will have more to follow on venues and times. Many of you have volunteered to help in the planning process, it is greatly appreciated. One thing all of us can do is track down current contact information on our classmates. Thanks and Go Huskies! |

Hi everyone,
We had a meeting of the KHS67 Reunion 2007 Planning Committee in Wilkes- Barre on Saturday January 14th. We have a good start on reunion plans and activities. At this point our most important goal is to contact everyone from our class. We have done a great job so far, reaching 60% of the class; the next 40% (about 100 people) will be the most challenging. I would like to ask all of you to help us in finding the remaining 100. I have attached a list of classmates we are still looking for, if you have contact information for them please forward it to me. Also if you have not been to our website yet or have not been there in a while, please take a look at (www.khs67.org). We have some new photos up on line. Simply go to the site, click on “Photos” on the top bar and select the picture of interest. In that regard, Tim Davis has sent in a class picture from Kindergarten 1955 that is on our site. Tim wants to run a contest to see who can identify all 11 individuals in the picture. Tim is willing to buy a 6 pack of Gibbons for the first individual who can correctly name each student. Actually, Tim can’t remember all of them himself so he needs your help. Please send your answers to Tim & me. We will let you know who gets the Gibbons! If you have other pictures you want posted on the website, please send them to me (digital or hardcopy) and I will try to get them up on line. Remember save the dates Aug 31-Sept 1, 2007 !! do you really think it is a good idea to have the reunion over a holiday weekend? wouldn't it be better to have it on my birthday or some other day significant to me? |

Lew is a friend of mine but Terry McGinley brings up a good point. After carefull thought I'd have to side with Terrys position. Lew belongs at the SEM reunion!!!! |

How does ANYONE remember ANYTHING from 40 years ago??? Don't forget the name tags--I hate it when I have to keep saying "So, How ya been?" I hope Freddy Einsford-Hill will be attending the party--I recently dreamt of Ira Grossman--Hi to Rick Passan from "the flounder"--Shit, I guess I do remember some things after all!!!!!!!!!!! |

A lot of controversy about Lou attending the KHS reunion. All I can say is that after Lou enrolled at SEM and started hanging out at WHITES Tavern he really never wanted to hang out with BIG JIM OF THE NORTH. So busing tables or not I say keep him out. |

I don't remember Lew going to Sem I just remember him being in our class and I for one wouldn't mind seeing him again. Aren't you guys getting a little petty (or Junior High even though we never had one) or is there more to this than meet the eye? |

Gary, What the hell is wrong with my grammer? All I can see is a missed period and a few commas. "I" is the subject "remember" the predicate and "Lew going to sem" the object. They may be a little awkward but for this type of thing I write the way I talk I didn't think I needed to edit my writing in this forum. I got a C-in personal typing and can't spell, but my formal writing skills are fine. I expect an apology. Kathy |

Lou definately went to SEM for senior year. Elly Schecter broke up with him and he was just too depressed to stay at KHS. Anyway, the grunion don't run in Wyoming Valley therefore I see no reason for Lou to attend the festivities!! |

don't think i could fit in your locker anymore -- but i will notify all law enforcement agencies that my life is in danger. you will of course, have to take a number, there are at least 4 or 5 other people ahead of you. i will notify Lew and see if he will protect me from you. of course, that will depend if he attends the reunion, and has time in between bussing tables to protect me. please advise how you will be dressed. i have friends in the FBI, CIA and ASPCA. i will tell them to be on the look out for you. what weapons will you be carrying? sorry, can't apologize for your grammar -- you will just have to find a way to cope. i've found that Belgian chocolates work well for me. |
